We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Officer to join our Head Office Team in Athens.
The successful candidate should have:
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or other software related discipline OR
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a similar software testing or quality assurance position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Greek.
- Knowledge of the shipping industry will be considered as an asset.

- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills able to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Proficient general IT skills and specific manual testing techniques. Knowledge of automated testing techniques and of scripting languages, and familiarity with testing tools will be appreciated.
- Fundamental understanding of software development processes and software development lifecycle models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Design and develop acceptance criteria, detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on User Stories, pre-release software and issue / bugs reports.
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing based on test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software functions and continues to function as expected as changes are made.
- Exploratory Testing: Perform ad-hoc testing to identify issues, bugs, and areas for improvement in software applications.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects through the entire software development lifecycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team and other stakeholders to:
- Identify and articulate issues, bugs and new requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and collect and record information effectively
- Verify work is completed to the expected quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of new QA and testing methodologies and best practices to improve overall product quality.
