In a personal statement, the departing CEO, Captain Drosos said:
“I am very proud to have been part of Almi Tankers during the past 4.5 years. We have assembled a very capable and hard-working team and we are achieving world-class performance. Having the opportunity to set up a new vessel operating company from the beginning, and according to very high standards, was an extremely rewarding experience, and I am proud to be able to claim that we achieved our initial vision of growing into a reliable tanker management company characterised by its operational integrity.I was very reluctant to leave Almi Tankers but could not resist the challenge of applying all that I have learned to a company that is also very close to my heart, as that is where I started my career. Captain Dimouleas and I have been working very closely together and I am glad that he will be taking over as CEO, as I am confident that he will continue improving on what we, as a team, have achieved so far.”
Almi Tankers S.A. would like to thank Captain Drosos for his 4.5 years of valuable service, consistent high performance and flawless co-operation, and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours, both personally and professionally.
