In line with our commitment to Total Crew Welfare, internet access is now available to all seafarers serving on board Almi Tankers vessels.
All Almi Tankers seafarers are provided with a free monthly internet allowance, which is provided in addition to their free personal email account on board.
The Navarino Infinity internet service provides our colleagues at sea with worldwide internet access, helping them to keep in touch with friends and family through sites such as Facebook and MySpace. The service also supplements daily news reports sent by Newslink and makes sure that seafarers are able to keep up to date on world events and industry news.
Crew internet will also be available on board all twelve DSME newbuildings scheduled to join the Almi Tankers fleet between December 2011 and December 2013.
Almi Tankers’ Total Crew Welfare campaign was initiated earlier this year and is focused on recognising and rewarding the efforts of our seafarers by providing an enjoyable working environment on board and excellent career prospects.

Almi Tankers S.A. launches Total Crew Welfare programme

Almi Tankers’ newest initiative is focused on recognising and rewarding the efforts of the company’s seafarers.

Almi Tankers has always believed that people are a company’s most important resource. All members of the Almi Team, both sea and shore based, are highly valued by the company’s management. The personal qualities of dedication, spirit and integrity, which define our team members, are what set Almi Tankers aside as a truly innovative and forward thinking tanker vessel management company.
Almi Tankers S.A. was inspired by the IMO’s year of the seafarer in 2010 and the company believes that the momentum gained across the oil tanker industry last year in relation to seafarer welfare should not be left to subside.
As such, and in order to honour the efforts of our seafarers, Almi Tankers is excited to announce its new Total Crew Welfare initiative. This programme will seek to recognise the efforts and contribution made by our seafarers by introducing a system which focuses on the well-being of our colleagues at sea and their families at home. The initiative encompasses an improved working and living environment aboard as well as a structured career development programme, with several steps already having been taken.
Any seafarers that share our focus, goals and ideals and wish to contribute to a close team by taking up a career at sea with Almi Tankers S.A. are always welcome to send their CV to us by clicking on the “CAREER OPPORTUNITIES” tab above.
